Reginald Mathis began his legal career at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s in 1996. Attorney Mathis served in the misdemeanor, juvenile and felony divisions as a DUI participating in numerous trials ranging from Driving Under the Influence (DUI) to Murder. After the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Mathis practiced complex civil litigation for several prominent insurance defense firms successfully defending Pepsi Cola International in a six million dollar civil action and Miami Carnival in a personal injury action. Mr. Mathis opened his own firm in 2003, focusing on criminal, personal injury and entertainment law.

 

In 2006, Attorney Mathis was elected to the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Florida Bar Executive Counsel where he served for several years.

 

In 2011, Mr. Mathis became in-house counsel for International Music Group and Strong Arm Management, comprised of International recording artists Flo Rida, Baby Soldier, Natalie LaRose, International Nephew, Fresh Colay, Oya Baby and Humble Tay. 

 

In 2018, Attorney Mathis sued a strip club for negligent security and received the highest premises liability verdict in Florida ($8.7 Million).
